Seated by the table, listening to adults' woes
Blissful.
I feel happy.
Aunties are treating me like a young adult; no longer that little, little girl.
In the past, they chat in hokkien and kids aren't supposed to say anything.
However, now, we're conversing in hokkien whilst catching up with each other in the sultry afternoon.
That's the unnoticed change.
I've matured but what I've deemed as "obstacles" are nothing compared to theirs.
Sometimes, I'm thankful I'd take time to help out, to spend some time with my relatives.
Blissful.
